About Rose City Water Filtration

A family water treatment company with East Texas roots: we test first, explain in plain English, and build systems sized to your water instead of a sales quota.

Rose City Water Filtration is part of the Palestine Water Treatment family, a family-owned East Texas operation with 35+ years of water treatment experience. We grew up on this region's water: the hard county supplies, the iron-heavy wells, the sulfur smell that shows up in one house and skips the next one over. Rose City brings that same work, under the same family, to Tyler and Smith County.

How we work

Everything starts with the free on-site water test. Not because it's a sales trick, but because water treatment done right is measurement first: hardness, iron, sulfide, sediment, and bacteria are numbers, and the numbers decide the equipment. You see your results on the spot, explained in plain English, and the quote that follows is itemized before any work starts. If your water doesn't need treatment, we're happy to be the ones who told you so.

When customers talk about us, they talk about Danny, because he's who shows up: on time, patient with questions, and honest about what your water does and doesn't need. That's the whole model. No call centers, no rotating strangers, one family operation accountable for its work.

What we do

Whole-home treatment and water softeners, reverse osmosis drinking water, well water treatment with UV purification, iron and sulfur removal, and commercial systems. Installation, and the annual maintenance that keeps it all working, starting at $175 + parts.

What we don't do

Honesty cuts both ways, so here's ours: we treat household and drinking water, not pools or spas. And while well water is one of our specialties, we don't drill or repair wells themselves: we treat the water that comes out of them. If your project needs a driller, we'll tell you straight and get to work on our part once the water's flowing.

Where we work

Tyler and the Rose City area, Whitehouse, Lindale, Bullard, Flint, Chandler, Hideaway, Noonday, Arp, and Troup: Smith County and the surrounding East Texas communities. See the full service area or just call; if you're close, we'll come test your water.

Frequently asked questions

Is Rose City Water Filtration really family-owned?
Yes. We're part of the Palestine Water Treatment family, an East Texas family operation with 35+ years in water treatment. Rose City is the same family serving Tyler and Smith County, not a franchise and not a national chain.
Is the free water test really free?
Yes: free and on-site, with no obligation. We test hardness, iron, sulfide, sediment, and bacteria indicators at your tap, walk you through the results in plain English, and leave you with an honest picture of your water whether you buy anything or not.
Do you drill wells or work on pools?
No to both, and we'd rather say so up front. We treat the water: whole-home filtration, softening, drinking water, and well water treatment. Well drilling and pool or spa water are different trades, and we'll point you in the right direction if that's what your project needs.
